I don’t disagree, it’s just not a horrible contract and I think it looks horrible because we tried to rush him at DT all year.
The moment Bryan Young was moved to DE coach and his interior rush was reduced he’s had a sack in almost each game.
DA/Grantham played him a bit. He lost weight to be an edge guy then in camp he was told to gain weight and rush from the interior.
I think if you have him drop weight, take away his run defense snaps and let him be a 3rd down only rusher like the Ravens did for Suggs or Falcons John Abraham in the twilight of their careers you could get more value out of his contract.
I don’t care what you do w/ Carr he’s probably not going to play up to the money he’s being payed.
