Those guys were picked in a different era when backs were valued more draft-wise. A great back can last a lot lower in today’s era.

That being said, though I get your side of the argument, I do maintain that Jeanty could be a good pick, but it would need to occur only in the event his final scouting grade is that of a player-type you mentioned above.

Don’t not pick him just because he’s a running back.
