With the 9th Pick in the 2025 draft, who should the Saints select? (merged)

Bigger needs doesn't mean one of those teams won't take him. We are sitting here in this thread with most arguing for taking BPA instead of need when you have a roster with holes all over it. All the teams above us have the same or more holes so they could take BPA especially since none of those teams have two great WRs.

Pretending teams don’t regularly draft for need over BPA would be an incredibly naive way to look at the draft. One can easily see teams do it all the time by looking at previous drafts. The Raiders likely will have Bowers and Meyers both hit 1,000+ yards this year with scrubs at QB. I doubt they are thinking WR is a priority over all the other positions they need. Hell a guy like Jeanty would be a much more logical pick if we are going off BPA for them.
