Well, if this report is true (not that it should be given any credibility), then it shows part of why he's being considered is because he'd give deference to Loomis, which would blatantly make him a yes man.
But even if the report isn't true (and let's hope it's not), it would be Loomis settling on another insular hire of a guy whose biggest asset seems to be that he was recently with the franchise, suggesting that, like Allen, he's someone Loomis feels he'd be able to control or that otherwise won't give him any push back -- i.e., a yes man.
