League insiders tells Tony Pauline that Aaron Glenn will end up being Saints Head Coach [Edit: Underhill says no decision is close to being made]

I don't want this to be true, I pray to god that this is way more conjecture and speculation and less insider knowledge.

Having said that I would not be surprised at all. Loomis was 1000% behind DA as being the Coach of the future for this team. He made it clear in the now infamous gum smacking PR that he felt DA was the right man for the job. Nick and the guys at NOF have done enough reporting to make it clear that left up to him alone, DA would not have been fired midseason. We also know that Loomis feels like injuries derailed this season, which to some degree they did, but for some reason also seem unwilling or incapable of looking at the other many faults this team has.

Would anyone be surprised if we:

1. Hired Glen or some other coach that Loomis was familiar that would be open to keep staff in place.
2. Restructure Carr with the goal of him being the starter for the next 2-3 years.
3. Bring back almost all of the old vets and just have a retread of the last 3 years under Allen.
4. Keep KK, that way Carr does not need to learn a new system, and many of the old offensive coaching staff.

None of this would shock me, but I would hate every second of it.
