For anyone who says Carr is just a stat padder and don’t win:

There’s obviously a lot of impact on wins and losses by the QB as they have more impact than any other position on the field, but I do agree it still is a team game and not solely on the QB.

Digging deeper into that Eagles game. It was at home. We scored only 12 points. We had pretty much our entire roster (or key players) healthy for that game. Our defense played great. Carr threw for 142 yards. Which I believe may have been our lowest output of the year, had 1 touchdown, 1 interception, and a QB Rating of 69.1 in that game. Our defense held an excellent Eagles team to 15 points and Carr couldn’t help lead us to a win. That’s not good enough.
But…. All that said Carr scored the go ahead TD on a decent drive with minimal time remaining. The defense failed to hold and got completely sauced on a blown coverage letting the Philly TE bust loose (at a point where their WR’s were knocked out of the game and we knew the TE was the only reliable weapon in the game).

Carr didn’t play great that day but he put us in position to win that game …. the defense failed in that moment.
