Head Coach if there is no GM change

I have to agree that you people are just out for blood at this point.

There’s not any logic to it. Loomis is in the will. He’s had some players age, some picks struggled but he’s gone and found the people to come in and help. I think we should’ve addressed OL depth before the season but I don’t think we knew we’d spend a third of the season missing our QB, 3-4 OL, and all of our WRs on offense.

The cap situation is overblown. Harley is still here and it’s still an advantage, not a bad thing. We are still using next years cap now and it’s because our owner has the cash and will to make that happen. If you don’t understand this after more than a decade, it’s just sad at this point.

I get it. They have been bad and DA didn’t work out. It happens. But this is the second time in what? 23 seasons that Loomis will have a roster with less than 7 wins. He’s signed two of the best free agents of all time. He’s hired a top 10 all-time head coach. And he’s had two of the top 5 all time draft classes ever.

You don’t think we should keep Rizzi on as ST Coordinator? Who else do you want there? It’s not like AG doesn’t know him.

The fan culture of just hating on everyone in our organization because we have struggled replacing Sean and Drew, has got to stop. It’s weak. It’s sad. It’s annoying. Be better than that.

How is there no logic to it?

Believing that the success of this franchise was based on culture that he built, and that he could just plug in a coordinator and continue that was a crime. That's based on ego and ego alone.

Having players age isn't something that's unique to this franchise, FYI. But extending underperforming vets? That's a choice.

Our method to the cap was fine when we had Drew Brees under center and our window was always open. Once he retired, that window closed and it's time to stop borrowing from 3-4 years in the future. You reset, you draft well, and if you land a QB you can win a championship with, then you can have that discussion of cap manipulation again. But continuing to act as if this was a Superbowl roster was pure negligence.

Now we're stuck with a pretty bad roster, unable to get out from our average quarterbacks contract, and financially tied to a downright bad and aging defender in Tyran Mathieu, and underperforming once heroes of this franchise in Demario and Cam, but they're 36. It's just not logical to keep making these choices and then doubling down on them.

And then to gaslight this franchise constantly, telling fans to look past the results? Yeah, no. That's weak, that's sad, and that's annoying. The franchise needs to be better than that.
