I don't disagree that winning football is exciting football. I'm just saying that no matter who the HC is, barring a miracle like Payton pulled in 2006, we are at best looking at a team hovering around .500 next year and mostly likely think I am overly optimistic with that.
And, yes, I do think we have some pieces for 3-4. But we do still need the pass rushers whether they are 4-3 DEs or 3-4 OLBs. Foskey may be an option, but you obviously can't count on him and Payton Turner is a free agent at the end of this year. Anyway, I do think it's now easier to draft for a 3-4 and you can get better value. For instance, if Abdul Carter somehow drops to #10, he would pretty much so be ideal as a 3-4 OLB where as I think he's probably light to play DE in the 4-3. There are lots of those tweeners that you can draft later because they are better fits for the 3-4.
