Expect the Saints to show interest in Chiefs OC Matt Nagy for HC per Dianna Russini

It’s true, Vrabel and Flores were fired, but that’s the only thing that they have in common with Nagy.

Both of them built systems that they could hang their hats on. Flores is a top notch DC. Vrabel had a solid culture in Tennessee, and he was let go due to a power struggle.

Nagy hasn’t even proven to be a competent OC as Andy Reid calls the plays on offense. As a coach he saw his team get worse and worse with each passing year. Nobody knows if he has learned from his past failure because he went back to a comfortable place in KC, where little is expected of him.

I don’t know why anyone would consider him after his prior crash landing, and our recent failure with DA.

I just don't see how you can think Flores should be an option and Nagy isn't even good enough to be interviewed and it is dumb to even have interest.

Flores flamed out in Miami, never made the playoffs, and was only 24-25 in his career. But, I still think Flores should be interviewed. because he got a raw deal in Miami and I like his defensive scheme. I kind of feel the same about Kingsbury. If I compare that to Nagy, I don't see the huge difference. He's worth an interview here and if the below article is to be believed he's going to get several HC interviews this year.

So, what did he do wrong in Chicago that means he's a terrible HC despite his record there and Chicago's only two playoff appearances since 2011?
