Something to keep in mind to try to not overreact to every report. Every interviewee in the search isn’t meant to be a big name or slam dunk candidate. A wide open search will have supposed underwhelming candidates to have a legitimate process. That can allow them to select the best hire after gathering as much information as possible.

As a follow-up Nick said this morning on his pregame YouTube video that they will interview 12 to 13 guys and he thinks there are two college coaches on the list of people they will interview. He also said that he does not think it is like last time when DA was the favorite and another coach had to blow the front office away to get the job. This will be an open process. It could end up being Glenn, but not because that decision has already been made or because others have to blow them away to make Glenn not the hire.

He also mentioned that it is not the case that they have put an conditions on keeping staff in order to get the job. They were not even allowed to contact coaches on other teams at the point so they could not have told Glenn conditions of getting the job.
