We just willingly let MIKE EVANS go into the record book versus us?

It really doesn’t matter - especially to the players.

It’s a personal accolade that made him a lot of money. All these players are typically friendly to one another once game is over - so as much of a d-bag Evans is… the Saints players are ok to see him get his milestone and get paid because at the end of the day it’s a business.

It’s strange as fans because we want the players to harbor the same ill-will towards our rivals but they just don’t.

I had no issue with Mike getting his money. I'm certainly not of the mindset that players don't deserve what they bring in, and even knowing about the bonus going into the game - I had a feeling he would get it and wasn't salty about that. I'm not an advocate of saving billionaires pocket change even if I don't like the dude.

It was all about circumstance for me. The game is over and they're telling you they're going to throw a quick pass to Mike Evans, and we don't even show any fight to stop it. Not even going to double him? Not even going to try and jump the route? It's a 1 score game after all. They're saying they're going to risk their playoff lives by trying to get their guy into the record book and to get him his bonus, and we put up zero fight versus a dude who has been one of the biggest heels toward this team of anyone since Roddy White retired.
