They didn't do Mayo wrong. He was totally unqualified for that gig and Kraft gave it to him because Mayo brown nosed him like crazy on an over seas trip. This is well documented.
Credit to Kraft for pulling the plug on his obvious mistake. But it was a dumb and unnecessary mistake to begin with.
