NFL Black Monday Thread

It's gonna be five years from now, and you're still going to be trying to convince people Jameis Winston isn't an average backup QB. There's always an excuse.

If Browns fans want him as the starter next year, good luck to them.
Who said anything about an excuse? You made a statement and I just showed you that your statement didn't really fly if you actually looked at games. You can call Winston whatever you want but the fact remained that it was a good chance that with him starting, they could win 2 of the 3 final games of the season, as the Bengals are one of the worst defenses in the league, the Dolphins defense was declining, and he has already beaten the Ravens. Your feelings about him doesn't change or affects what actually happens on the field. Like I said, your feelings aside, going 0-3, they faced 3 top 10 defenses (2 top 5) and were competitive in 2 of the 3 games. The problem is most people don't care about those small details because they like to prove or push a point but actually watching the games tell us otherwise. He was benched so the Browns can get a top 5 pick and everyone with common sense knows this.

As I stated, he wasn't benched because Robinson gave them the best chance to win and the fact that the offense got drastically worse should let everyone know that...lol. Again, it's really not that deep and pretty much a common sense thing. Yall are making this about Winston while I'm talking about the situation. Nobody is saying anything about his play, whether stank, bad, good or great. All I said is he was benched because it is possible him starting, they could win 2 of the last 3 games. You are only doubling back as hard as you are because apparently you didn't watch enough football to know other teams situations. So, instead of actually addressing the point made, you are making it about something that wasn't even discussed.
