I honestly think the Rooney rule has run it's course. Minority coaches are hired every single year and I think the thick headed idea of the past that minority coaches (and QB's) are inferior has been put to bed. Maybe I'm wrong, but I find it insulting to good coaches that get interviews to be automatically be referred to as Rooney rule interviews.
