This team needs Jon Gruden right now

I mean, I think I just said that there are no actual reports that he will be a candidate and Underhill said it is unlikely that he will be a candidate. And of all the guys the team is rumored to have interest in, I agree that Gruden is the only one that I want no part of.

But although I don't want him, Gruden would not be a "yes man" to Loomis. If anything, Loomis would hire Gruden because Gruden would take full control of the organization the way Payton did when he was the head coach. So hiring Gruden would be dumb and would show a lack of imagination, but it wouldn't show that Loomis is just looking for a "yes man". But, he would show that he is continuing to make poor decisions.
