This team needs Jon Gruden right now

I don't want an NFL retread as HC. If Belichick were still out there, I'd say the same about him. Gruden's passed his prime. We need a young, hungry, talented coordinator (either OC or DC) with both leadership and organizational skills to take over, who also needs to have a real eye for talent in all 3 phases of the game.

It would be a particularly lazy hire. Loomis' greatest move with the frachise was identifying a young, hungry coach that was not a particularly well known name at the time, and that's probably the best route for the team again. Get someone who's not intimidated by the project in front of him and wants to make his name, not someone who would be using his name for one last cash grab.
