I agree with the using his work email part. He was clearly going against two people that he has a major problem with. Not groups of people or races. But he shouldn’t have. And he was kicked for doing it. And he apologized and went to court over it for 2 years. Should he be put in front a firing squad now? Or does he deserve a second look? Who of us hasn’t said something they wish they could take back? I said stuff in this thread I wish I didn’t say.,,
He might deserve a second chance, but if I was an owner or GM, the negatives from that situation and the lack of likelihood of him actually being a good coach in the mid to late 2020s in his mid 60s, would result in a Nope from me.
I’d let some other sad sack, needing something to move the needle franchise attach their brand to Gruden, while I tried to find the next young Sean Payton or similar.
