I don’t think Rattler should be starting. A new coach will want a reliable qb under center to begin his tenure. Expecting a second year player with a lot question marks to be your starter is not a recipe for success. Remember he was third string behind Jake Haener after camp and preseason games. Do you think Jake Haener is a really good qb? If not then that should tell you something about Rattler’s ability at this point in his career. I’m pulling for him, but I’d like to see the team bring in a top tier young qb to compete for number 2 behind Carr.
