Jets to interview Darren Rizzi [on January 11th]

Maybe he ends up the ST coach there, but the interview is for the HC job. Many had speculated that he would get this interview given his connection to the NJ/NY area. According to Underhill, Rizzi is always talking about how much he loves the Northeast.

“We didn’t select you for the role you applied for, but we have this position that would be a perfect fit for you and it is currently available.”

I got a job like this once, and turned down a few of these types of offers. One of the ones I turned down, ironically enough, was a coaching position.
