What you stated applies to almost every coach we’re interviewing. All new coaches learn on the job. It’s hard to go from coordinating a position group to becoming a leader of men. Most can’t make that transition (Dennis Allen). I’m no GM but based on what I saw from Rizzi, he has the makeup of a head coach. I’m not saying he’s the next Dan Campbell, but I think if you give him two good coordinators and let him focus on coaching you may have a solid team.
