1st you are under the wrong impression that ML is running roughshod over the draft process. He's not saying I'm drafting this fat guy because his 3 cone time is better than a WRs 40. It's a consensus between the scouting dept and the HC. If there is a disagreement then he has final say and you can bet you savings that he sides mostly with the HC. So to blame ML for Davenport, or Payton Turner is just incorrect he just let the HC and the scouting dept pretty much run the show.

Please show me where ML is this slave to continuity.Other than the DA hire that's IT. It was DA that retained most of the staff in the 1st yr. Then it was DA that reworked the D staff in the 2nd yr and again it was DA that hired KK and KK hired the offensive staff.
