Carr is being held to a standard matched only by all-time NFL greats by many people here. Any negative play he has gets magnified to disproportionate levels.

Great post, totally agree.....that hate was on full display when DC was roundly criticized for the diving attempt for a 1st down in which he was injured.....In all my life I don't think I've ever witnessed a QB being criticized for what I would very much call an effort play....

I've also not seen any of the Carr haters propose a scenario where the alternative to Carr is actually an upgrade (or, better, if you're into the whole brevity thing....man).....

I mean he was the best "bridge" option QB available at the time, and he is very likely still our best option in 2025.....beyond that? Probably not, we will see....
