I do drill down quite a bit on current events and yes, I do know that is only a segment of society that can get some bad actors be held accountable. I'm not stupid and I'm not naive and I wish the great, happy world you want really existed but sometimes, you go after those you can get because realistically, some abusers, molesters are far more powerful and harder to bring down then others due to power, money and class interests. You go after and bring down who you can and yes, you call it a victory when it happens no matter small because that celebrity like Danny Masterson won't be able to use his status to hurt people anymore. It took decades to bring down Bill Cosby and maybe he won't die in prison like many believe he should, but his once-spotless reputation is destroyed. Same thing applied to O.J. Simpson too.

I'm a cynic but I'm also a realist at the same time because I realize what kind of brutal, cruel world we really live in and you take the wins where you can.

And honestly FWIW, are you really going to try and tell me that in the last 15 years of his life, George Carlin didnt come across as some bitter, cynical crotchety old man who revamped his shtick and routine from newer comics like Sam Kinison or Bill Hicks. He hardly had the same wit, intelligence, sensible humor that defined his 1970's and 80's stand-up specials and routines.
