ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler: Saints Head Coach opening is a coveted job among people I’ve spoken to; Mike McCarthy could have interest

Fowler: This is a coveted job among people I've spoken to recently. I've heard that Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy could have some interest, so it wouldn't shock if the Saints try to talk to him should he be free to do so (McCarthy's contract with the Cowboys expires Tuesday).

All or parts of this were possibly planted (recently) by:

A: Mike McCarthy
B: Mickey Loomis

I'm losing interest in who the coach will be because Magic Mickey will do what he do. The appeal of the job is that if you win here, you are a forever God, fused to the soul of the peoplehood. Culture fit matters most to me. I'd like Brady or a new person with offensive chops who embraces the city and the culture. Sean was 1000% football coach and strategist, but he had a relatable personality warmth to him with the fans. Sean liked to have fun and carved space for that alongside the seriousness of his football drive. Dennis did not have that element of his personality, ever.

Give us a culture fit coach who can develop talent, stabilize and grow the offense, and restock the defense on all three levels. It's gonna take a hard nosed, but fun coach (like Sean and Dan are) to do that.
