Should Rattler be our starter in 2025?

Injuries were part of the reason for this team being bad this season, but they weren't the only reason. The team walked into the season without quality starting talent at most positions with nearly zero depth behind them. We came into the league tied for dead last in strength of schedule and still lost 12 games. And we still only beat the worst teams. Even if you believe we were good the first two games you have to realize that those teams we beat we also terrible.

Carr doesn't even come close to moving the needle under those circumstances and there is simply not cap space to bring in proven veteran talent to improve this team this year. It'll be drafted and UDFA rookies additions this year and most of them won't be good right off the bat. They'll need experience like the young guys this year were forced into before the light comes on for them. Carr isn't good enough to elevate them, so we might as well clear out his cap space while we're bad, let young guys get a lot of reps and have the cap clear for when the light come on for some of them, if we're lucky.
Not a part of the reason the BIGGEST part. If not for 2 plays we would have been 4-0 going into KC
. And no team no matter what their cap situation pays starter $ to backups thinking most of their OL is gonna be out more than half the yr. And we lose both our starting WRs and one of our biggest weapons
