Pressers nowadays are carefully controlled orchestrations, complete with the team's backdrop adorned with whoever the main corporate sponsor is behind the talking head. I'm sure the league prefers it this way, especially during the current era with Goodell as commish. The media itself isn't exactly as hard-nosed with coaches as it once was, either. I don't think Buddy D or any of the T-P's big names of the past would want any part of this circus now.
