Exactly. Loomis literally assimilates & takes on the identity of the HC he hires. That’s why we all loved him w/Sean Payton, then lost faith in him w/DA. I dont agree w/the fans who are calling for his head. But i 100% believe he has to nail this HC hire to get back into the good graces of a portion the fanbase who currently hate him.

Yeah, I've definitely been critical of Loomis and have even wanted Gayle to promote him to another position and hire a new GM.

That said, it appears he's staying as GM for now. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic considering they're interviewing some legitimate candidates.

I'm not a fan of Aaron Glenn, but I gotta admit, seeing his overall body of work, interviews and recommendations from former Saints like Drew and Reggie has me warming up to him.

I'd still rather an offensive coach, but I think Glenn would be a solid hire. He and Vrabel are really the only 2 defensive coaches I'm interested in.
