Saints to interview Aaron Glenn on Jan. 10th [Nick Underhill: Glenn probably gets an in person 2nd interview in a couple of weeks]

All this coming out in the past day from Dennis Allen, kind of puts egg on Gayles face. Its out that Loomis didnt agree with firing Allen. Which is in itself absolutely absurd. If Gayle didnt put an end to this lunacy, he would likely still be the HC. 2nd, its not Loomis' job to tell the person he is firing that he doesnt agree with it. His boss told him to do a job he wouldnt do, he shouldve done it and moved on. He had to know Allen would blabber about it at some point.

You cant convince me that Allen had the same level of control Payton had. Theres nothing either way, but when he was first hired, most of Paytons staff was retained. Whether he was told that or not, Im not sure. I absolutely believe Loomis had more control of the team with Allen than he did with Payton.
