Its different hearing if from the guy who was fired, that he was told that Loomis didnt agree with it. Basically, "Gayle told me to do it, but I dont agree with it". I dont know how that doesnt make Gayle look somewhat bad here. A subordinate, or if we dont like that word for Loomis, an employee questioning her decision to the guy she was firing.

Loomis also said that while he didn't want to fire DA mid-season, he ultimately agreed with Gail's decision. Which honestly makes her seem stronger. But Underhill has reported several times that he believes that Loomis was going to fire DA at the end of the season.

I'm sure Loomis did soft peddle it when he fired DA. But, "wasn't really in favor of it" isn't really putting up much resistance to the firing. But, I think the point is that we all knew that Loomis didn't want to fire DA mid-season and that Gayle ultimately made him do it regardless if he ultimately agreed it was the right move or if he really wasn't in favor of it and told DA that he wasn't really in favor of it.

I mean, I wouldn't expect Loomis to go in there and tell DA You blow and you are fired. Now get your loser arse out of here.
