Saints to interview Aaron Glenn on Jan. 10th [Nick Underhill: Glenn probably gets an in person 2nd interview in a couple of weeks]

I don't know why any of this matters. What changed after DA was fired? 2-7 vs 3-5. Nothing. So, was firing DA mid-season helpful? No. I don't think that Loomis was against firing DA. Just mid-season. Though I have to admit, I certainly wasn't disappointed when DA was fired, but I don't think that doing it mid-season was the right decision. Because if you want to get a new HC, firing a guy mid-season hurts you from finding a good one, potentially.

We can agree that we werent any better after the DA firing than before, outside of a lot of yelling in the Atlanta game. But it needed to happen when it happened. Goes back to the poor roster Loomis has assembled and the cap and draft mistakes he has made. But I know you will refuse to accept this is largely Loomis' fault.

No potential coach in their right mind is going to respect an organization more or less for firing a guy on a 7 game losing streak, who was 18-25 with the Saints and 26-53 overall. It might even speak to a franchise who wont accept failure. At that point there was a lot of rumblings about players losing their minds with Allen. At least they seemed to wanted to play for Rizzi, despite the results not changing much.

I dont think it matters one single iota to a potential HC that we fired the last 1 mid season. None.
