No, just a “gut hunch” … but I think they are leaning toward Glenn and if he ends up being the pick that there’s a good chance he would retain Kubiak (probably at Loomis’ suggestion as a OC choice). The one thing I would love to know is Kubiak’s feelings about staying in NOLA with the Saints organization and grooming Spencer for the future. (I really do like Haener, too, but it’s another “gut hunch” they the front office agrees with me in that Rattler has a much higher potential future playing behind (or alongside) Carr one more season to help lessen Cap impact. I also love to know Kubiak’s feelings about Carr, who I believe has been unfairly maligned but likely isn’t in the longterm future. … I don’t think any Saints HC has been made yet and that they do want to cast a wide net for due dilligence. But I also do think Glenn is a significant frontrunner unless he’s crazy enough to go coach the Jets under the watchful eyes of the owner’s son.
