Could be but Saints coaching staff needs to realize that they have to use Olave a lot better than they have for 3 years now. Several concussions yet something’s not getting through to them on what type of skillset Olave has.

Too many violent middle of the field looks that could be more sideline outs, curls, and deep shots. Routes that takes advantage of Olave’s quickness and elite separation on the break. Instead of throwing him into brutal hits.

Yep. No matter how good your QB is, if guys run those kinds of routes they are going to get hit hard. It would be nice if every throw was in the perfect position for the WR to get down to avoid or absorb contact better, but that isn't reality when throws are split second decisions. The only other option is not to throw to an open WR because he's going to get hit hard and that's not a way to run a functional offense.

So, they need to not put Olave in that position. That being said, Olave does need to work on his neck muscles because even on other routes he can and does get hit. He also needs to put on the Guardian Cover for the same reasons. In fact, IIRC, at least one of the concussion he got was on a route near the sideline and his head got slammed into the turf as he was falling down backwards.
