With the 9th Pick in the 2025 draft, who should the Saints select? (merged)

Agreed…. That’s why I’m good with 3 top level offensive playmakers at 9 in this draft. No need to force anything. Just don’t take another player that doesn’t give you actual juice in the form of points and wins.

If this team could have scored when it needed to last year…. The season looks a lot different. They couldn’t because they had no healthy playmakers outside of AK.

People want to put everything on the defense and OLine…. And they had plenty of fault. But both could have been overcome with just one more TD per game this year. The opportunity was there too…. The talent and availability wasn’t.

There may be two offensive playmakers that are worth the #9 pick, McMillan and Jeanty, the rest would be a reach at #9. You shouldn't ignore a potentially great player like Will Johnson, Carter, etc. in favor of just drafting for a playmaker because it makes it more fun. It's not like we don't have any playmakers. We have Alvin, Olave, and Shaheed who if used properly are very exciting players. Clearly, it would be better to have more, but you are forcing guys up the board just because they are playmakers, I assume #3 for you is Warren. He's a good player and I'd have no issue taking him, but not at #9 where there will be another, better player available.
