Saints expected to be very interested in former Packers/Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy [McCarthy will interview early next week]

I like Daniels, but I'm not as enamored with him as you clearly are and I'm not putting him in a class with those guys at this point. He's had a great season no doubt, but I'm not going to overreact to it yet. Even CJ Stroud came back to earth a bit this year.

That said, Rattler is pretty mobile. Not to the level of Daniels and Lamar obviously, but he can move around a bit. If line play was designed for it instead of him running on broken plays he'd be passable until we find a better option. Carr on the other hand doesn't move in the pocket at all. He doesn't roll out, can't really step up right now and isn't a run threat. When he tried he missed games.
I'm not enamored with Daniels throwing mechanics... only his speed & that he is a rookie played but played like a 10 year veteran QB.
We will see what he does next year.

You are correct in that Rattler has the good mobility & in today's game that is a plus.
I'm highly enamored with Rattler's quick release, accuracy, & poise in the pocket.

I also like the fact that things didn't go great for him this year.
He shouldn't get big headed & he should work hard this off-season to get better.

How many 33 year old qb's are run threats?
Carr isn't a statue, he just is getting older for a QB & they don't run as much.
Have you watched how R. Wilson can't run away from defensive player anymore.
That is one of the reasons the Steelers struggled so badly down the stretch...
