Wilson burnt us a time or two as a Viking QB (he had some good wheels on him, as well as an arm) but he was already a 12-year vet by the time he replaced Hebert. Was another case of a washed vet spending the tail end of his career with the Saints.
He was mostly a backup so I thought signing him as a starter was a big mistake. He did have a couple nice games against us. I think he played part of that blowout playoff loss in 87. Our QB history before Brees was always cheap and stupid.
