Probably actually the opposite. It will allow them to move on from Darnold and go with the rookie who they’ll have for 4 more years on a rookie deal and get to keep building their strong team

I agree to disagree. The mental aspect, like 28-3 did to the Failclowns, sticks with you. Makes you reach on draft day and free agency to get the taste of a game like this off your back.
They were always moving on from Darnold, imo, because they aren’t going to pay the price that he earned this season.
