It's certainly possible. But what if McCarty has a good interview, but you still aren't sure if Glenn, Brady, or Moore might be the better pick?

That being said, my feeling on this is that McCarty gets the job if he wants it. But that's based purely on feel, not evidence.

I almost hate that he is available. I was on board with the idea of Vrabel, but not to the point of getting upset if we missed out. I think it will burn if McCarthy signs with another team, it will seem like we are settling for what we can get instead of getting the best guy for the job.
