A major roadblock to the Saints coaching search could be Derek Carr

I’m not saying Carr makes anybody jump at this job but some people act like he’s been terrible here. He hasn’t. Statistically, he’s acquitted himself fairly well during some very challenging circumstances. The biggest problem has been protecting him and keeping him healthy.

I also think Rattler showed off developmental potential.

Nobody taking this job is coming in with big expectations put on them in year one. I think the QB room is at least solid enough to be a bridge to future opportunities. As long as the front office can sell the right candidate on a shared vision and strong support, I don’t think our current QBs are necessarily a dealbreaker.

All that he's put on tape should cure that roadblock . . . .
Carr lost more games in 10 yrs than Brady in 23 yrs. That's his tape, final score is loss. I'll say it again we had a light schedule strength wise even with injuries we should of gotten above 500 but DA AndDC comics are the Bloose brothers. He saying no pay cut we didn't bring him here to make money they brought him here to win but he know he's not a winner that's why he talking stats.
