Saints expected to be very interested in former Packers/Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy [McCarthy will interview early next week]

Arch? What has Arch done? He hasn’t even unseated Ewers in two years. Let’s see what he can do over the course of at least a couple of seasons before drafting him on name alone.

Arch will enter 2025 as the presumed starter and have three years of eligibility. He played a little in 2023 so he could keep his redshirt.

He started a handful of games this past year when Ewers was injured. I promise you there are a ton of Texas fans, me included, that wanted Sark to play Arch more because Ewers disappeared for stretches of games with low energy, and he lacks mobility. Everyone saw that. But thank God Ewers pulled the Arizona State win out of his backbottom.

Sark was loyal to Ewers regardless and that's understandable because Ewers ended Texas' many years of mediocrity on the field and in recruiting.

Ewers has arm talent but lacks mobility, and has lacked accuracy on the deep balls. I think he's dropped a couple rounds in the draft. Do not want for the Saints. Now Arch in 27' or 28'? Absolutely, but so may everybody.
