Payton on being one of the least injured teams in the NFL

the jets fans seem like they are getting used to a reality of Glenn as their next coach. They, as you probably know are pretty divided too.

I simply do not understand that we didn't learn from Denver. They were willing to part with their first round pick etc, in order to get Sean Payton. (Denver could've hired Glenn or any of these first timers back then) But instead went for the slam dunk. But yet, we aren't jumping on the chance to get his Big twin in MM, baffles me.

He's scheduled to interview early next week so they may hire him. But, it also makes sense to go through the process and interview all of your candidates to make sure it's the right fit and the right choice. As much as I think McCarthy probably is a can't miss hire to at least turn this team back into a team that is in the playoff year in and year out, there are no guarantees when hiring a coach and the team should make sure he is the right pick by giving legitimate shots to all the candidates before making a decision.

As far as Glenn, according to Underhill, the people he talked to who know Glenn's situation said it it false that he favors the Jets job right now. No decisions have been made.
