There will be "corrections" but why should a talented athlete in a sport with insane market value not be able to earn his market worth? Especially when he's a revenue generator for his school and he's literally risking his future physical livelihood, which will affect his future earning potential if he's disabled?
While community and corporate NIL will be hard to regulate, the schools will be soon be given greater latitude to be more than a pass-through for paying players. This will be very regulated but it's a way for football donors to get tax deductions (donating to a non-profit which state universities are) and a way to ensure everybody on the team gets paid at minimum, "a salary floor."
