I concur. Mickey has done a lot to draw the ire of fans. That happens when you have four straight seasons when you don’t go to the playoffs. But there was a time not long ago when he could do no wrong and when “Loomising” was a thing. Reality is, he’s the same person then as he is now. Sean and Mickey balanced one another, however. And truthfully, winning makes you overlook certain peculiarities—in this case Mickey’s but it was even true with Sean.

In essence, team success requires a lot of different parts working synergistically and with clear vision and that has not happened. Still, I’d take the Saints front office and ownership over the Jets. And that is very much with Mickey needing to get it right this time.
