Jordan Schultz: Bears Job is a Two-Horse Race Between Mike McCarthy and Ben Johnson

I’ve been thinking about how a coach would view the different head coaching openings. The Raiders would have to be the worst. Ben Johnson would have to be crazy to take that job. He’ll be guaranteed to lose the division race for the next 5 years, pretty much. (KC,Denver, SD, Oak). The Saints from a competitive perspective would have to be the best choice. Isn’t that what they are signing up to do, to compete and try and win, first your division? With that said, Ben Johnson should still be a strong possibility for Chicago. Pretty stiff competition in that division as well, GB and Minn and Detroit! The jets have Buffalo and the new Vrabel led Pats and Miami to deal with. The Saints, all a coach would have to worry about is a 9-7 Tampa /Atl team. Maybe this is why we feel we can be patient.
