This new business unit I work in now - well I have always been a part of but my former team was a dedicated team and kind of isolated from the rest of the business unit until this year - sucks. Everyone fights over stuff and I just think to myself "why does anyone care?" I literally fight about nothing because I don't care. This isn't my company. If people want to make decisions and I don't agree with them but that's what people want to do? Fine by me. This isn't my company and if it falls apart, then so be it. Legit do enough to get good reviews and not get fired but I am not paid enough to fight with people and be passionate about this ish just to get a 3% cost of living every year. We don't even get our full annual bonus % (separate from COLA) because the BU's that hit targets have to subsidize bonuses for those who didn't.
