I want no part of Aaron Glenn as a HC

This is the biggest mark against him. It’s not “one game.” He’s been a below-average DC his entire time in Detroit.

This year, the injuries hit hard, but that doesn’t explain the other years. Dennis Allen, for all his flaws as a head coach, was much better at scheming around injuries and lack of talent than Glenn has been.

So unless Glenn is truly a magical personality whose mere presence can motivate a team to new heights, I don’t see why he should be near the top of the wish list.
So let's see , in 2020 the Lions were dead last in D rankings, They added 2 DTs in the 3rd rd in the draft . In 21 they moved up 1 spot without adding much talent. in 22 they moved up another 2 spots , in 23 they jump another 6 spots , adding more talent. They were poised to make a big jump in 24 but were more decimated by injuries on D than we were on O. I don't know what can be expected when you inherit the worst D in the league and don't really add difference makers until yr 3.
