Yes. I know some people who lived in NYC for many years and moved to NOLA. They love NOLA because it's less crowded, cost of living is much lower, and they could buy a big house Uptown for less than they were paying for a tiny one bedroom apartment in NYC.
But, different people like different things and want different things from life. I have no idea if Glenn would prefer NYC (or NJ) over NOLA or not.
