I want no part of Aaron Glenn as a HC

Then why did it go back down this year? Moore seems to be doing just fine. His offense is playing in NFCCG despite a rather pedestrian season from Hurts.
Payton was also Parcell's assistant head coach... Yes his attention to detail played a big part but he was also a young bright offensive mind that was also a QB coach. The same kind of coach we should be trying to find.

Other DC's have adjusted to it. They play more zone, have smaller faster DE's that can help contain the QB. DA's defense isn't built for that and now you want a continuation? lol. If it was one game with Glenn then whatever, even though his 12 men on the field on a crucial 4th down was pretty pitiful, but like has already been pointed out, his defense hasn't been all that special. Ever.

A trend occurs with Moore. His offenses aren't bad by any stretch of the imagination. But his QB's always seem to have "down" years while his RB's tend to have up years. I understand Dak had a good year under him, but we've now seen Herbert and Hurts regress underneath him. That's the opposite of what we need. We don't have a franchise QB, we need a coach who can groom a QB into a franchise QB. Considering the last two franchise QB's had down years under him, I don't see why he would be an intriguing candidate unless we want to forego the idea of grooming any franchise QBs at all in hopes that a running game can solely make us a superbowl contender. Which I don't think can happen. Yes the Eagles passing game is in a down year, but the Eagles passing game in a down year is still as the saints passing game in a good game. We need a QB "whisperer".

At this point, my gut feeling tells me its Brady or Ben Johnson and the others is just settling to be relevant again. Some of these coaches, like Glenn and Kingsbury I think wouldn't wield any better results then DA (a team struggling to be .500). Especially Kingsbury. He had 1 good coaching year in Arizona, struggled to work with his franchise QB and struggled to be a .500 team the other 3 years. It's also we documented that his game time adjustments were abysmal.

And here's the kicker. We need to pick a head coach who we can give several years to. Not just 2 or 3. We need to eye for a coach who can be here for a decade and make a superbowl contender. I just don't see that with Glenn, Moore, Kingsbury, McCarthy... The only two candidates available who constantly elevate their players and go toe to toe with superbowl coaches are Brady and Johnson. And Johnson doesn't seem to want anything to do with us, which leaves us with just Brady. Both of em being first time head coaches are going to have some up and downs and learning curves and we gotta stick with it so long as we see progress.
