I want no part of Aaron Glenn as a HC

In my Michael Corleone voice “just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in!”

I shoulda said it in the Jayden thread so as not to derail this one so this is my last comment here on it. I’m not saying what he’s doing isn’t special this soon in his career, of course it is.

Fact is what he’s doing as a dual threat is being done currently by Lamar and has been for several years. They are still contemporaries.

Sure he could eventually be better than all of them and sooner rather than later. He could also take a step back if Kingsbury leaves among other things as teams get more film on him. We will see. But a generation is 20-30 years on average is my point.

I agree with you however on AG. If we going to go down this road then we should only consider hiring whichever coordinator wins the Super Bowl because that always works right?

It's not just special, he's only the 2nd rookie QB to ever reach a conference championship game, and if they win he will be the only one to ever get to a SB.....

I like Lamar and he had a great season, but when the pressure is on, in the biggest games, he tends to turn the ball over....as great as he is I think JD is better already.....

Anything is possible, he could digress (I doubt it), he could get injured if they don't start severely limiting his running (more likely).....but he has put together probably the best (or most successful) season any rookie QB has ever had and I don't think it is an anomaly.....

I don't disqualify a candidate over a single game, I just don't think AG is the guy for us.....I want an offensive minded coach....
