Our FO isn’t dumb. They know it’s a QB’s league. But we haven’t been in a position to draft an elite prospect there. And reaching for a QB when you don’t love the player can lead to a variety of other problems.

The organization hasn’t liked one QB since 1971 worthy of trading up to go get? Or even liked enough to just draft a QB in the late first round or second round without trading up?

I find it hard to believe that in 53 years there hasn’t been one guy that they believed was worth drafting in the first or second round. It seems to be by design IMO, but neither you or I know. But the fact remains that they haven’t taken a QB in the first or second round for 53 years and until that changes we as fans need to hope on finding a gem late in the draft or FA.
