If coaching is secondary to acquiring talent, then why do some franchises seem to perennially draft in the top ten and never improve. Whereas teams that have good coaches and draft at the back end of the draft in each round remain successful every year.
What do you mean? The teams that are picking early have massive gaps in talent. The teams that are picking late don't. They also generally have these things called franchise QBs.
Drafting high is how *most* teams flip their franchise around ex: Redskins, Lions, Texans, hell even the Chiefs needed the 10th overall to land Mahomes.
